Laura Clark, Reception Team.
Laura is one half of this friendly team, she joined GKG Vets in January 2006, having previously been a course tutor at Newbury College for the First Diploma in Animal Care. In addition to running reception she also manages the reminder system ensuring everyone gets the letters about vaccinations. In her spare time Laura breeds and shows Boxer Dogs.
Laura lives in Thatcham with her husband, daughter and five dogs.
Julia Mills, Reception Team.
Julia joined the practice in 2008 and is the other half of our friendly reception team. Not only does she run the reception, she also keeps all our filing in order (no mean feat).
Julia lives in Newbury with her husband and Horse.
Dawn Tonge, Reception Team.
Dawn, having worked for many years as evening receptionist in the practice, now provides cover for Julia and Laura when they are on holiday ensuring that we do not have to use agency staff.
Dawn lives in East Garston with her husband and three dogs.
Irene Green
Irene has been at our Thatcham surgery for 10 years running reception and assisting the vets. She is a well know face around Thatcham where her husband Rick runs Sticks and Strings, the music shop. Irene has recently masterminded the move to our new premise in Thatcham.
Sandy Maskell, Book Keeper and Office Administration
Sandy joined us in 2004 and has worked tirelessly to convert us from a paper system to the fully computerised system we now have. Recently she agreed to take on alot of the day to day administration as well as book keeping.
Sandy lives in Thatcham with her husband, son, two dogs and two cats.
