We offer comprehensive care for your domestic pets and large animals. Our main Surgery in St Johns Road, Newbury has full hospitalisation facilities so that if your pet needs to receive overnight care, you can be confident that your pet will be regularly monitored throughout the night, if necessary. At all times your pet will be made to feel as comfortable as possible.
Puppies and Kittens
We offer free puppy and kitten checks prior to vaccination ensuring the best possible start in life for your pet.
Obesity Clinics
We offer free obesity clinics to support those owners whose pets have a few extra pounds to lose.
Rabbits
Rabbits have recently rapidly increased in popularity and we ensure that we keep up to date on the
most effective preventative healthcare for rabbits, including feeding, vaccination and worming.
Worms and Fleas
We offer free consultations for flea and worm treatments ensuring that only that you get the best possible advice on what products to choose to help to control those unwelcome visitors.
Operating Theatre
We have an in house operating theatres in Newbury and Thatcham for domestic animals and can perform all routine surgery at both sites, more serious or cirtical cases are handled at the Newbury site. In addition we are also equipped to bring the 'operating theatre' to the farm to perform emergency procedures on farm animals.
X Rays
We have our own x-ray machine and automatic x-ray processor enabling us to produce high quality x-rays rapidly if required.
Ultrasound
We have a brand new ultrasound machine with printer enabling us to perform scans of animals including for pregnancy.
Blood Test
We have recently acquired some 'state of the art' equipment which enables us to perform a large number of blood tests in house giving same day results. Some of the less common tests still need to be sent to a specialist lab and are usually reported within 5 working days.
